Project: PPG Wellness Center

Project Objective: Implement a new design for the PPG Wellness Center site. Convert the existing site to Microsoft Content Management Server, permitting content owners to make more timely updates to content. Site updates must also fall in line with an overall corporate strategy to promote a healthy employee lifestyle.

Approach: Microsoft Content Management Server templates were created with a provided interface design. The templates enabled multiple pages to be created, and the content of "placeholders" to be edited, while the interface and navigation areas of the site maintained consistency. As new sections and pages were added, the navigation was dynamically updated.

Responsibilities: Worked with external design firm to ensure the provided interface design meets PPG Industries Global Identity standards and Internet design recommendations. Worked with members of the Wellness Team to organize content. Assumed overall project management responsibilities including the writing and delegation of project documentation. Maintained all project timelines and provided status updates. Coordinated and participated in all stakeholder meetings. Ensured that training was provided to the authors and editors maintaining the site.
