Inspired by the passing of my own loved ones, these ornaments grew

I have always had a love for ornaments. Each year, I challenge myself to learn a new skill and translate it into a handmade ornament, which I gift as a favor at my family’s annual holiday party. What began as a gesture of comfort for those closest to me has since grown into something more—
